Mountain Lake Lodge, Pembroke

The resort has a beautiful outdoor setting that's perfect for those who enjoy nature and hiking. However, the cleanliness of the accommodations was not up to standard, and the dining experience was hit or miss. While the staff was commendable, particularly in the dining area, the overall value for money fell short considering the price paid.

I had a fantastic time at Mountain Lake Lodge, especially as a huge fan of 'Dirty Dancing.' The staff were great, and the lodge itself was clean and comfortable, which made for a lovely getaway. The location had some beautiful views and interesting features, but I wish the service at reception had been more attentive. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit for fans of the movie and nature lovers alike.
